Beaver sweeps conference foe Penn State Worthington Scranton

Beaver got off to a great start scoring seven runs in the first two innings. Two runs came across in the first inning and five in the next. They would add four runs in the top of the sixth winning the game off a ten run rule 11-0. 

Junior Jake Debo (New Brighton, PA/New Brighton) would throw a complete game shutout picking up the win. 

The second game would start off with Beaver scoring two runs in the top of the second inning. Three runs would be hit in sporadically throughout the game to give Beaver the win 5-1. 

Sophomore Michael Bega (Grovetown, GA / Academy of Richmond County) also threw a complete game giving up one run and picking up the win. 

Beaver is back in action tomorrow at Penn State Hazleton with the games starting at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
