Myrtle Beach, SC -- Beaver nearly knocks off Henry Ford, but falls in extra innings.

After falling behind by two in the top of the first, Beaver answered in a big way scoring five in the bottom of the second with RBI's coming from Johnny Rowland, Christian James, Shelton Hilliard and Trey Luffy as 7 of the 10 batters reached base safely.

Henry Ford cut the deficit to one in the third and took the lead in the top of the fifth, 6-5.  But Beaver evened the score in the bottom of the sixth after Scott Hughes got things started witha lead off double.  A bunt single from Jacob Beck advanced him to third and Hughes scored the tying run on a Stefan Romaniuk single.

Again Henry Ford regained the lead in the top of the 7th, but Beaver wasn't going away quietly.  Justyn Francona hit a one out single and then scored on a double to right field off of the bat of Noah Rinker to send the game into extra innings.
