Lady Lions Fall to Carlow in First Game of the Day

Vero Beach, FL -- Beaver falls to Carlow for the second time this week.

Beaver's pitching started the game strong holding Carlow scoreless through two innings and allowing just one hit.  In the bottom of the third inning Carlow got on the board after Beaver comitted a couple of errors, giving up 5 runs.  Carlow was also able to put runs on the board in the fourth and sixth innings while Beaver's offense struggled against the pitching of the Celtics.

Freshman, Dina Cable (Mannington, NJ / Salem County Vo Tech) had the lone hit for the Lady Lions, going 1 for 2.  

The Lady Lions will return to action later today as they face Sinclair Community College in a doubleheader starting at 5:00 p.m.
