Freyermuth Named PSUAC Pitcher of the Week

This week’s Pitcher of the Week is Korey Freyermuth, a junior from Penn State Beaver.  She pitched in Beaver’s only game this past week. Freyermuth recorded the win, pitching 7 innings.  She only allowed 5 hits and walked 3.  Freyermuth struck out 10 batters.  She led her team to a first place PSUAC finish in the regular season.  Beaver will host the 2012 PSUAC Softball Championships.  Freyermuth and her team will take on #4 Penn State Hazleton.
