Schuylkill, Pa -- The Penn State Beaver Lady Lions traveled to take on Penn State Schuylkill for their first round playoff matchup. Beaver comes into these playoffs as the defending champions of the PSUAC and hope to repeat that performance again this year.

The game started off fast in favor of Schuylkill, as they took at one nothing lead in the first ten minutes of play. Schuylkill looked very good early on as the two teams battled for control of the game. Beaver looked to be missing an offensive spark in this one, as they played well but not up to their usual standards. In the 40th minute, Schuylkill struck again, taking a 2-0 lead into the half.

Beaver came out in the second half really looking to be on a mission to take this game back from Schuylkill. However, in the 54th minute Schuylkill scored again, taking a commanding 3-0 lead. This seemed to light a spark in the Beaver girls as they pushed hard, scoring twice in the next thirty minutes of play. Even with their good lat game push, Beaver still ended up dropping this one by a final score of 3-2.

The Beaver girls lost this one by a final score of 3-2, ending their season on this loss to Penn State Schuylkill. The girls were lead in their final game by late game goals from Lauren Banks and Captain Marissa Bucklen. The team finished this season will a final record of 8-9 overall while finishing third in the PSUAC standings.
