Monaca, PA -- Penn State Beaver squared off against CCBC Saturday afternoon for the first time this season. Beaver showed no signs of slowing down coming into the next set as they continued their fantastic performance. As the set went on they played very well, fighting for every point adn eventually winning this set by a score of 25-11.
By the start of the third set all life seemed to be drained from CCBC, as they struggled to put up a fight against a dominant Penn State Beaver team, once again surrendering the lead almost immediately and never finding any momentum to take it back. This game was the second impressive performance in a row for the Beaver girls, as they have managed to not lose a set in two straight games. With strong performances at the service line by Morgan Cannister and Alexis Albrecht, both with four service aces, Beaver was able to cruise to their third victory of the year, now sitting at 3-3.
