Monaca, Pa -- The Penn State Beaver women's volleyball team returned home to take on the women of Penn State Greater Allegheny. Beaver has been playing very well as of late, coming into this game on a two game win streak looking poised to make it three.
The first set started off with Beaver looking very well composed, as they took hold of the game early on. Greater Allegheny had a tough time at the service line and Beaver took advantage of every badly hit ball that they could. Beaver took this set by a score of 25-16.
The second set showed a little more of a dominant Beaver team, as they controlled the momentum for the majority of the set. Once Beaver settled in, they played very well batlling for every point and eventually taking the set 25-14.
The third set proved to be a little more challanging for Beaver, as Greater Allegheny stepped it up showing they weren't going down without a fight. But just as they did in the first two sets, Beaver played a very hard fought game showing that they wanted this win more, and eventually taking the set 25-19.
