Wilkes Barre, Pa -- The Penn State women's volleyball team traveled to Wikes Barre for a doubleheader that will finish their regular season conference play this season. Beaver comes into these games first looking to face off first against Penn State Wilkes Barre, then after against Penn State Worthington Scranton. These final games of the season will determine what spot in the standings Beaver will finish in so winning out these games is a must for the Beaver team.

The first game went very smoothly for Beaver as they really looked impressive against Penn State Wilkes Barre. The first two sets were very easy wins for Beaver as they had 21 of their 27 total kills in these sets. The third set showed a Wilkes Barre team that, at times, looked very good but it didn't matter in the end as they dropped this match 3 sets to none. Beaver looked very good in this game due in part to the efforts of Sophomore Morgan Cannister, who had 12 kills and 4 service aces, and Junior Roxy Kie, who tallied 7 service aces.

After their first win of the day, Beaver took the court once again against Penn State Worthington Scranton. Beaver was poised to take home a win in this game too as Worthington Scranton has struggled in conference play this season. The Beaver team, once again, looked very impressive as they took all three sets against Worthington Scranton. With a combined 29 kills and 18 service aces, Beaver took home the win in their last conference game in this season by a score of 3 sets to 0.

After their doubleheader, Beaver has closed out their regular season conference play and the team now sits at fourth place in the PSUAC standings. The team now has a 15-12 overall record, with an 11-4 conference record. The team's final game of the season will be on Thursday, October 20, at Carlow University. Game time is set for 7 pm.
