The Lions started the game with a strong 9-point lead over Wilkes-Barre, finishing the first half 42-33. At half, Beaver was led by Senior Jeremy Redwine with 28 points, shooting 13-17 from the field and 2-3 from the free throw line. Coming out in the second, Wilkes-Barre put on a solid display of defense and offense, turning the game around late with less than 4 minutes left.
