Monaca, PA - The Lions start off 2022 on a good note with a close win over CCBC. CCBC scored the opening points but Beaver immediately took control of the game going on an early 18-6 run. The Lions held a 10+ point lead for majority of the half, ending it 30-19. The second half became a bit more competitive as CCBC came out firing on all cylinders, going up 38-37. The Lions did not give up and took the lead back going up 49-40. The game continued to stay tight from there finishing up 53-48.
Senior Alexander Avery led in points with 14. Senior Devon Johnson had 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist. Senior Jeremy Redwine had 12 points and 6 rebounds.
