DuBois, PA- The Lions travelled to take on Penn State DuBois in the quarterfinals of PSUAC playoffs. First-year, Ronyell Coston (Eastern Shore, VA) got Beaver on board with a lay-up. Third-year Jabari Gayle (Stafford, VA) followed with a lay-up. Third-year, Trevor Franklin (Stafford, VA) made a layup to tie up the game 6-6. Franklin ended things in the first half with a layup to get Beaver ahead 31-28. Second-year Alex Green (Chicago, IL) started the second half hot with a three-pointer. He was followed by a layup by Coston. Both teams went back and forth throughout the half, but Beaver was unable to keep ahold of the lead.
Second-year Alex Green (Chicago,IL) had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Third-year Trevor Franklin (Stafford, VA) had 13 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Third year Jabari Gayle (Stafford, VA) had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. Third-year Jaylen Vaughn (Beaver Falls, PA) had 13 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. The team went 23-61(37.7%) from the field and 23-28 (82.1%) from the free throw line.
