Monaca, PA--- The Penn State Beaver Lady Lions hosted PSU York on Saturday afternoon and lost by a score of 85-76, making it the third conference loss of the season for Beaver as they now stand at 9-3 in conference play.
Beaver took a lead early in the game but York would answer and the visitors would take a 44-35 lead at the half. York would lead by as many as 12 in the second half but Beaver battled back and cut the deficit to 3 with around 5 minutes left. York would hit a couple crucial 3's late in second half and never gave up their lead as they would get by Beaver 85-76.
Beaver got 20 points from Hayden Kimbrough (Rochester, Rochester) who also finished with 6 rebounds. Cassandra Flowers (Pittsburgh, Westinghouse) had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds and senior Brittany Tomaselli (East Liverpool, East Liverpool) finished with 13 points and 8 assists for Beaver. Khalia Adams (Washington DC, Phelps) had 12 points, giving Beaver four scorers in double figures.
Beaver will play again on Wednesday when they travel to Pitt Titusville to play at 6pm.
