York, PA - Penn State Beaver dropped a 66–53 decision at Penn State York during their PSUAC conference game. Beaver stayed within striking distance early, but York's steady scoring and a decisive second-half push created separation. After trailing by just one at the break, Beaver couldn't keep pace as York won both the third and fourth quarters to pull away.
The opening quarter set a tight tone, with Beaver down 13–11 after one. Beaver matched York's energy on the glass and generated extra chances, but struggled to convert consistently, finishing the night at 20-for-81 (24.7%) from the field. In the second quarter, Beaver's offense found a bit more rhythm, edging York 17–16 to go into halftime trailing only 29–28, keeping the game very much in reach.
The game turned after the break. York outscored Beaver 19–14 in the third to extend the margin, then closed with an 18–11 fourth quarter to seal it. Beaver continued to battle inside—finishing with 44 rebounds, including 22 offensive boards—but the shooting gap and missed opportunities at the line (10-for-19) made it difficult to erase the deficit late.
Beaver key players were Cashimere Ralph, who led Beaver with 11 points, and a massive 18 rebounds (including 13 offensive). Katie Enderle added 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists in 39 minutes. Ny'Ashia Barnes scored 8 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists, while Jaden Tesch contributed 7 points and 6 rebounds. Claudia Siegfried provided a perimeter lift with 6 points on 2 made threes, and Taylor Woodruff chipped in 8 rebounds to go with 5 points.
Beaver's effort on the boards kept the contest competitive for long stretches, but York's second-half execution ultimately decided it. With the loss, Penn State Beaver's record moved to 10–3 overall and 3–1 in conference play.
