Phoenixville, PA--- Penn State Beaver took on Valley Forge on Tuesday afternoon in a nail biter.
Beaver came out on fire and opened up the scoring on a Jessica Spina(Jefferson Hills, PA / Thomas Jefferson) goal giving Beaver the lead, 1-0. Valley Forge answered back with two goals of their own in the first half leading Beaver 2-1 at halftime.
In the second half Beaver answered back with a goal by Brittany Langevin (South Burlington, PA / South Burlington) and ten minutes later Spina added another goal to go ahead 3-2. Valley Forge then scored their third goal of the game at the 69:00 minute mark to make the score 3-3.
With the score tied and clock ticking Valley Forge scored a heartbreaking goal with less than a minute left, taking the win over Beaver 4-3.
Beaver's next game is against St.Catherine College October 26th, which will be their last game of the season.
