Another Tough Non-Conference Game for the Lady Lions
Taking on La Roche University proved to be difficult of the Lady Lions as they return home with a score of 3-0.
Pittsburgh, PA - Today the Volleyball team faced off against La Roche in a match that tested their resilience and determination. Despite the final score not reflecting the effort put forth by the Beaver squad, the game was a showcase of individual performances and a learning experience for the team as they embarked on their 2025 season.
Bryanna Neiberg stood out as a key contributor, leading the team with seven kills and three service aces, accumulating a total of 10 points. Her performance was a bright spot in an otherwise challenging match, as she also managed to secure seven digs, showcasing her versatility on the court. Aubrey Pulliam, another starter for Beaver, added two kills and six digs to her name, contributing to the team's defensive efforts. Julianna Butler, with her presence at the net, managed to score 2.5 points, including a block assist, highlighting her role in the team's blocking strategy.Despite the tough loss, Beaver players demonstrated moments of promise and potential. As they continue their season, these individual performances will serve as building blocks for future success, as the team looks to refine their skills and improve their cohesion on the court.
Looking forward to the rest of the season; the Lady Lions will take the court again on Tuesday, September 9th and 6pm when they take on Beaver County rival, CCBC. After that they return home on September 11th for one more non-conference game before they start conference play on Saturday, September 13th. September 11th is also a Water Bottle Giveway!
