Monaca, PA - Today the Lady Lions held a Tri-Match with Cincinnati-Clermont and Penn State DuBois. In a decisive match one, Cincinnati Clermont showcased their dominance over Penn State Beaver with a straight-set victory, winning 3-0. Match 2 went much better for Beaver though; Beaver emerged victorious against Penn State DuBois with a 3-1 win. The match, which was part of the ongoing season, saw Penn State Beaver improve their record to 5-10 overall and 2-3 in conference play. The home team demonstrated resilience and skill, clinching the first two sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-19. Although Penn State DuBois fought back to win the third set 25-23, Penn State Beaver sealed their victory by taking the fourth set 25-19.
