FREE T-SHIRTS TONIGHT!
Come support the Women's Volleyball Team as they take on WCCC and help the local community by donating non-perishable food items.
Today is the last day that the Athletics Department and the Women's Volleyball team will be collecting donations for the Salvation Army of Beaver Falls. To bring the food drive to a close, the team will be on campus today during common hour collecting donations at various locations. Please see the times and locations below.
At tonight's game versus WCCC, the first 50 people to make a donation will receive a free Penn State Women's Volleyball/Hunger Awareness Month T-Shirt. Just before the match starts, there will be a short presentation from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Salvation Army of Beaver Falls.
The Women’s Volleyball Program got involved in the community this fall by taking part in Hunger Awareness Month. In partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Beaver Falls Salvation Army, the team has set up several locations on the Beaver Campus where students, faculty, staff and community members can drop off non-perishable items. The two designated locations are the Wellness Center Front Desk and the Student Union Building in room 101. These locations will be available for donations throughout the day.
During common hour the times and locations to meet your Penn State Beaver Lady Lions are as follows:
12:00PM – Ross Administration Building
12:15PM – Student Union Building – Upper Lobby
12:30PM – Harmony Hall Lobby
12:45PM – Outside the Michael Baker and General Classroom Buildings
